In detailed view you can select the columns of information you want to see for your files. Once you reach your folder you can view your contents using the standard modes accessible from View | Pane style menu: Large/small icons, list, details and thumbnails.

Likewise File | Column mode will open the selected folder item in a new miller pane showing side by side.

File | New tab will open the folder in a new tab, part of the active pane.

If you hold a new window will be cloned and the folder will be browsed there.

If you hold as you are changing folder, it will be loaded in the inactive pane.
